As standard you the door comes with a night latch lock. You will only get a handle if you upgrade to the brushed steel lever handle.
Steel frame adds 60mm per side and 58mm along the top.
This door is particularly strong and therefore heavy , this means that doors up to 7'6'' wide are 1/3- 2/3 split and doors over 7'6'' are split 50/50 .

Select Garage Doors Ltd provides a 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects from date of purchase.In the event of a claim, please contact the distributor who originally supplied the product, who will then supply details of the claim along with the proof of purchase to Select garage doors Ltd. Valid claims will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. We do not accept costs for dismantling and installation nor for carriage.
Subject to the following conditions: Operating gear All products must be installed in accordance with installation instructions. Moving parts should be lubricated regularly to ensure smooth operation (including hinges). This should occur at least quarterly along with a visual inspection of any parts subject to wear. If wear is detected you must contact your supplier immediately. Appearance: During the manufacturing process it is inevitable that some distortion in the panels will occur. The factory applied finish may be subject to minor blemishes or slight inconsistencies. A visual inspection should be carried out in natural daylight (not direct sunlight), from a distance of 3 metres to view the overall appearance. Any minor marks, distortions, indentations, scuffs or blemishes will not be covered by warranty. Finish Warranty: -Primed steel doors must receive a suitable exterior topcoat immediately after installation, in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. It is recommended a matt or semi gloss is used, as high gloss will exaggerate any distortions. This coating is not covered by warranty. Factory finished powder coating is covered for FIVE years. Minor chips or scratches which result in cosmetic or surface corrosion are not covered. Laminate wood grain finish is covered for 5 years.Surfaces must be freely exposed to washing by rainfall and kept clear of bird droppings, accumulated dirt and debris. The door and frame should be kept free from impact damage, scratches and other surface abrasions. Damage, corrosion or discolouration caused by contact with an excessively salty atmosphere, abnormal elements within the building or from pollution, chemicals, or caustic substances is excluded from warranty. The company reserves the right to make alterations in design and manufacture as are deemed necessary without notification.

We deliver most doors on our own transport, average delivery time is 2-3 weeks.
Delivery hours - 6.30 AM -6.30PM. You must have someone available between these times to assist with unloading. We will telephone with the approximate time about 3 days before delivery. Our driver will then telephone you about 1/2 hr before arrival.

The last few years has seen changes in the garage door market in particular to the thousands of tons of plastic used to protect doors that ultimately is not recyclable and goes to landfill .
Because of the improvements in galvanised steel and the paint finish now being powder coated and oven baked the need to fully protect the doors against the elements is no longer justified .
Therefore the door you are currently looking at here will not come packaged , this will make it easier for you to check for marks and damage but will also mean that you need to take extra care in handling the product before installation.
The following manufacturers do not plastic wrap steel up and over doors.
Fort , Hormann , Garador , Novoferm , Cardale .
Some special made items or special colours will come wrapped but off the shelf sizes in white will not. Timber, Grp ,Roller doors and sectional doors are still wrapped.
Please be prepared that on arrival if you are storing the door for a time you will need to look after the front panel .
Over the next few years it is likely that packaging using plastic in general will dramatically reduce or cease so we hope you see this as a positive step.
